If you're trying to tighten a clamp that's seen it's day by being reamed out to much you can make a good fix by cleaning the battery post and the inside of the clamp with a wire brush. Then snip off a piece of lead from a fishing sinker, smash it out flat with a hammer and insert it into the hole to wrap around the battery post and tighten.
