OK, I have spent alot of money to get right back where I started.
It all started when my 2005 3500 with 170,000 miles started hic-uping and pinging on acceleration. I took it to the dealer and and with no warranty left ended up paying for a new lift pump, injection pump, and oh ya they found a leak in my A/C compressor. So it was more than just a tune up. After all that here I am with a truck that hic-ups on acceleration and now the fuel lines between the rail and the injectors are knocking like a trick-r-treater. But the A/C is cold. I think it is the injectors so can I get them from somewhere besides the DEALER! I heard that new nozzels are just as good as buying the whole injector. My truck has no mods and I have very little money left so I just need something economical. Please advise.

 

Formula One Diesel is the place to get new nozzles and have them tested and repaired if necessary. The 40 HP injectors sure woke up the bottom end on my truck. One of the best investments I have made. Just google Formula One Diesel to find a distributor nearest you.

 

you should have some kind of warranty from the knuckle heads at the dealership. take it to them and see what they say

so the nozzel is the most important part of the injector? So is there something else that can go wrong with the injectors than just the nozzel going bad? I am just trying to save some heart ache with all of this.

i dont know why but i think i would really enjoy to see that happen to someone! the taser and mace are kinda cool, but im more of an old school kinda guy...pistol whipping and the old baton to take care of issues!
