automatic trans and injector pump problems??

so my trany has been acting wierd lately..eratic shifting mostly then it progressed to not having my top 2 gears it would also act like it ran out of fuel but would recover really quick. the truck has been at the dealership since monday. they replaced a (powerpack) or something like that on the valve body in the trans but say now that the injection pump is bad and they are waiting for approval from dc to replace it.. does any of this make sense??

No injection pump on an 05. Only a high pressure pump. The fuel rail and lines are basically a high psi fuel resivior for the injectors which make the injection event electronically.
