air dog fitting in cp3 broke

My air dog cp3 fitting broke off into the cp3. It was not even very tight at the time. So how should I get the threads out of the cp3?. Also is it worth doing the DIY cp3 upgrade while I fix the issue.

if u goto home depot, in the sprinkler/irrigation isle they have fitting removal tool, has saved me many times.

Your local hardware store or Home Depot should have pipe /nipple extractors. They look like tapered reverse drill bits and work very well.
