98 dodge 24v leaking oil bad!

I was coming down a fairly steep hill last night when I noticed at the bottom that I lost around a quart of oil. It drained right ahead of the engine, it looks like it came from a hose.

what color there are a few possibilities vacuum pump seal, front main tranny line power steering ? need more to go on

do those trucks have KDP issues?

I think that it might have the KDP, but that may only be 12v motors.

Do a search on the fix for the draft tube on the 24 valve engine, it is an easy fix and totally inexpensive. When the OEM set-up drives down a really steep grade they will dump oil right out the draft tube hose.

RCW I just got done talking to a mechanic who said the same thing. Thanks for the info. It was definitely motor oil.
