hi im new to the form and just tonight my 97 died on me i just got it out of the shop on friday where i had ats put a stage 5 trans in to it boy dose it feel like a drag truck. my question is i was driveing and all the sudden the truck just shut off and would not start up i checked for leaks and air in the fuel lines but im just stumped what the problem could be.
PLEASE HELP ME THIS FORM JUST ROCKS THANKS JOSH

 

Have you checked the shut down solenoid to see if it will stay in the up position with the key on? If it does, then look for a fuel problem. If it does not, then you need to start looking for an electrical problem.

WHERE IS THE SHUT DOWN SOLENOID LOCATED ON THE PUMP IM JUST STRESSED THIS THING IS TURNING IN TO A WHOLE MONEY PIT EACH MONTH IT IS SOMETHING NEW

 

seeing that it was just worked on it is possible that some wires are pinched and you blew a fuse link. just a thought.
