Wont stay running. HELP !!

iam working on a 99 2500 24v. It has about 15-16 psi of fuel pressure with the key on. When cranking engine it drops to about 6 or so. I could only get it started 2 times today, but when it did start it ran fine. I did put in a new fuel filter, bleed all the lines. Now here what i cant figure out, when its running and i drop it in gear it will die. and will not start up again?????. Like i said it ran great for about 15 min, and thats when i droped it in gear. I didnt have the pressure gauge on it then to see what the pressure was when it died. I died just like that. no spitting or sputtering, just like i turned the key off. Alos, i cracked the # 1 line and cranked it , didnt seem to get a whole lot of fuel out of it either, I crackred the # 3 line and got more fuel from that line .......Any ideas at all?? Thanks And does anyone one the web address for cummings. Like to get a price on a lift pump

Sounds like you might be chasing an electrical gremlin. ???
Cummins website: www.cummins.com

BTW no "G" in Cummins
My local Cummins store shows the lift pump retails for ~$160.
I've heard reports of Dodge parts counters asking almost double that price for the exact same part. >

Re:Wont stay running. HELP !!

Well, dealer says there were many codesthey got out of it, all pointing to the injector pump. guy i bought the truck form said he was driving back form a trip when it started running bad. Drove it a while then pulled into a gas station , there they changed the fuel filter, he said it was plugged. The truck has never run the same sence. I was doing some reading on here and came across a post about a plugged fliter causing the inj pump to go bad. Kinda all comes together now. He never had a gauge on it . IT WILL NOW !!. iam thinking about a digital fuel gauge. Anyone have one there using? Good or bad. ????
