torque converter clutch wont stay locked under 70mph

My tcc wont stay locked when i let up on the pedal to keep my speed at 70 on the highway. The transmission shifts fine and I have cleaned my tps.The clutch locks up ok but when i ease up to keep from going past 70 it unlocks. Is there anything I can adjust to keep it locked.I guess I will add the mystery switch if i cant adjust it.I have read allI can find on here about it but it isnt the repeated lock unlock that alot of people have .It just stays unlocked until I step down on the pedal and accelerate and it locks right up..thanx for any help.

I had the same problem, took the TPS wires out of the main wire harness. That did not help. I had to replace the shaft that comes out of the pump. Cost me about 300Can to have it done.
