My brother in law is in a bind hes gotta haul a load with his truck and he was installing an electric ice chest in the truck and wired it up to a hot wire that was only hot when the key was on. ice chest works fine now the truck wont start any help would be great . Need to get on the road. thanks worm
1st [ but too late ] , is find out what load the accessory is going to pull [ amps ] , then run pos. wire [ rated for that load ] to battery pos. with a fuse or breaker [ rated for the load ] .
As for tippin module , I have done a couple searches , nothing , not sure if spelling is off or it does not exist .
Have you tried disconnecting the cooler ?
Find out what wire was used ?
There are fuses under hood & dash , then fuse able links at batteries also .

I believe the dealer was referring to the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module).
There were a number of posts about this when Dodge switched over to this setup (in '06 I think). Basically instead of routing things through fuses, there was a power module that controlled the flow and would trip if the load was exceeded. Then the dealer had to reset the module.
A lot of people weren't happy because the trailer lights were routed through this module and anytime you latched onto a trailer with bad wiring, you risked tripping the module.
