3rd gen. dead

I was driving to work this morning about 65mph and when i started to slow down to make a turn my truck died, no sputtering or surging, instant shut off. The truck will not start now, 44,000 miles on engine. Turning the key switch gave me these two codes P0113 and P0237 Intake air temp sensor voltage, and map sensor voltage. ANY IDEAS?

Take the Edge box off and see if it will run. Box may have went bad.

Mileage and age is about right for failure of the fuel bypass valve on the common rail. Just stopping and no start is a typical symptom.

would the fuel bypass valve on the common rail be a ctd warranty item you think. My understanding is that with 43,000 miles the only thing still under warranty is the ctd items, so if its a computer or something like that it is on me.
If anyone knows for sure that would be good information. I dont think i will be able to tow it to a shop until Friday, and if the warranty is not going to cover it id rather go somewhere other than the dealership.

i dont have any idea how to go about checking it, i did however take on of the tubing lines off that go into the engines and it shot a good stream of fuel. the fuel filter bowl will also fill back up if i drain it. i will do what ever i need to do to check anything i can.

Just remember, if it is engine it is covered by Cummins warranty. 5years 100K no deductable, 7yr 100k $100 deductable. Covered items include block, crank, pistons fuel pump, injectors and many other items I don't remember all, check your warranty book or call DC. Dealer tried to stiff me the $100 for a bad injector but I called Dodge Customer Care and had them explain it to him, he then put it into his compouter and guess what, no charge came up on screen. I hate dealers, he kept pointing to his warranty book that showed less than 84 months 100K miles then it would be $100 and he wouldn't even look at the line above it that said under 60 months 100K no charge.

Wow!
Less than 2 years & 40 something K miles is the expected service life of the fuel bypass rail on an '05?
