241hdh transfer case.
hello im working on a 98 ram 2500 4x4 and the transfercase is clunking when some gas is applied and when its engaged in four high, i can see the rear drive shaft pop out from the tail shaft about an half inch, and the noise stops when off the gas, the clunk only happens when engeged in four high, havent put the truck into low yet, no noise when just in two high, my question is can I pull the rear tail shaft off with out any parts falling out? and the rebuild kits seem to only come with some basic parts. additional parts are extra, is this a comon problem with dodge in this case, or is this just from beating the heck out of it? any help would be great, thank in advance,

Im just going to replace the transfer case un less any one in Denver can bench this, and geter done, the rebuild kit is really not that costly, un less I need some gears or something, any one want to trade or how much I dont have time to just let the truck sit it makes me money every day, contact me at germansledteam@hotmail.com if interested, thanks
