Question 20A Power Outlet fuse blown?

My daughter was using a portable DVD player from the back power outlet. She slammed the door on the cord breaking it. I believe when the wires touched the door it shorted out the power fuse since neither front or back power outlets work now. Need to know location of fuse so I can replace.

Well, ya need to give us a little info about your truck so that we can begin to troubleshoot. Fill out your signature with this info and I am sure that you will get the correct location. BTW, Welcome to DTR, glad to have you join our ranks!!!!

Good luck,

1- Welcome to the forums, enjoy your stay.
2- Yes, many question are model year dependent, so it helps to have a signature filled in with your vehicles pertinant information (so you don't have to keep typing it over and over again with each question)

That being said,

Fuse will be in one of two places.

Either the fuse panel on the side of the dash, or in the PDC (Power Distribution Center) under the hood.

There will be a diagram of each on the cover to aid in finding the exact fuse.

I don't know what year you have but on a 2004 it could be one of 3 fuses. All three control different power outlets in the truck:

Fuse 29
Fuse 25
Fuse 42 (I'm guessing this is the fuse that is blown)

Those fuses are in the Integrated Power Module which is under the hood on the driver's side in the front of the engine compartment. You'll have to unscrew the lid (using your fingers) and then get the lid off to see the fuses. Under the lid there is also a diagram of what the fuses are for.

Welcome!
