Thanks for the info schaef. So far I have not had any major external leaks. But I am sure it is coming.... When I tow I have my valet switch in the limp mode so I am not making much boost and helps keep the EGT's down a little. But I do seem to loose exactly 2 gallons each time I tow. Post a picture of your head gasket when you change it out if you can
.
Thanks......

I hear water gurgling thru my heater on the first take off of the day. I am not losing any coolant, and I have a trailer hooked up over 65% of my driving. If the coolant were escaping past your rad cap it would go into the bottle, so you can rule it out. Last winter I was losing coolant and found a pin hole leak in one of the heater hoses that connect to the cab. The water was spraying straight down on the exhaust manifold, so there was never a puddle. Check your hoses with a clean shop towel with the engine at operating temp. You might also check the radiator with a big sheet of cardboard in the front, and visually in the back. Also check the A/C drain hose out of the cab. If the heater core is leaking it would drain out there.

Thanks Games. Good suggestions. On the times I have lost coolant I could defiantly smell coolant. I will do some more investigation and check back in.
