By the looks of his sig, I'd say he's a hot shotter that does'nt let any grass grow under his wheels. I only put 125,000 on my tanker truck a year & thats with a weekend relief driver.

Yes i have my own business, I do hot shot along with relocate of new campers.
I run about 16 to 24 days a month, i dont stp to much when im on the road, thats what sitting at home is for.
This is the best truck ive ever had and i couldnt be happier, No oil leaks of any kind, I took it to cummins at 148,000 and had them check valve adjustment and fuel timing, basically a go over for a piece of mind, including the oil and antifreeze lab checks, all came back excellent, valve needed a little tweek according to the tech, but other than that, they gave a thumbs up on everything else.
I change oil, oil filter and fuel filter every 7500 miles, rear diff every 20,000, transmission every 50,000.
I strongly believe the maint., is the key to this many miles with no problems.

That's awesome brother !!! Glad to hear how these babies are holding up under hard usage . I too did hotshots yrs ago but it sure is nice to be home every night and driving someone elses rig !! Feel for ya , I know exactly how these fuel prices grind ya down and customers don't want to pay surcharges !!! Let us know on upgrades and weights you're pulling . I assume you use Statapore filters on that mule ??

gofastman - I might be willing to pay a broker fee for a backhaul to St. Louis or so from your neck of the woods in a month or so if fuel goes down . Wife's uncle used to haul boats from the Ozarks and asked me if I would be interested in pulling a 47 footer down to Ft. Lauderdale in a month during my down time at work .

Mixer Man, All I use is Fleetguard filters, Rotella 15-40, No additives at all.
Stock motor wise, other than the AFE Air Intake system.
Fuel milage is doing quite well. Hauling 12000 to 18000 on a regular basis, Averaging 14 as a general rule.....I have really learned to keep the speed at 65 to 70 since fuel has gone up so much. Any more than that it all goes really bad.

GOFAST! You gave me the warm and fuzzy feeling. Especially your maintenance intervals, that's great! I might put that many miles if I own this truck for 5 years. WOW. We should call you CRUISER!

How do you keep it so clean? I have 42k miles of hard work and towing 10,400 lbs frequently on mine and it has rock chips and even a concrete dent in the hood and A pillar where a disgruntled Uhuru member took aim but missed my windshield as we passed by on the interstate during a riot. Those must be pics of when it was new eh?
