10 weeks and 17,000 miles later
My truck was delivered to me on April 10, 2004. I now have 17,000 miles on it and here is my report. I LOVE THIS TRUCK! It has been flawless and has seen some major duty. I use this truck as my daily driver and service truck in my custom farming business in Eastern Oregon. Heaviest tow was a triple axle 28 foot equipment trailer with a Ford Genesis 8970 tractor (total combined weight - 42,100 lbs.) 300 miles. Also used the same trailer to haul a New Holland HW340 swather and 2355 disc header from Fallon, Nevada to Burns, Oregon (total combined weight - 30,850 lbs.). This truck has just been awesome. I have yet to hand calculate the fuel mileage, overhead computer reads anywhere from 15.5 to 19.7, not towing of course. One of my friends traded in his Duramax for a Cummins 600. He has 14,000 miles after just 5 weeks of ownership and he loves it. His dad, a die-hard Ford man, loves it and is even thinking about getting one. Like I said, I love this truck.
Keep it up and you'll be trading in for an 05 due to having broke in the engine and needing an ovehaul
Keep it up and keep on "Driving it Like You Stole It"
I would contact DC and see if you can be in their next commercial
