2006 dodge 2500 4x4

can anyone tell me what size socket i need to remove big nut on pinion flange so i can replace pinion seal on differential help would be appreciated thanks

I hate to ask this - but isn't this truck under warranty? If it were mine & under warranty - well, you know who would be doing to work...

No truck has 128,000 miles haul new rvs with truck for a living and i am smart i do my own mechanical work when i can so i dont get ripped off

Wow...sorry I sure could not have imagined that!

Now another thought for you, sounds like you depend upon this truck for your business - would it be worthwhile to build a realtionship with a good dealer (they are out there) and keep out your documentation. You could likely they write off repairs to your truck since it's used for business purposes. That would include the labor. You also ought to have the truck on a depreation schedule and be writing off it's original expense since it's a buisiness veichle. (My parents' have two buinesses, this is where it comes from.) Just something to think about...

i take my truck to cummins when i have a problem dodge is way to expensive other than that i am mechanicaly inclined so i do my own work a lot of times i do use a depreciation schedule for my truck and never have to pay taxes do to all my write offs thanx for suggestions though
