NO power to fuel pumps - 2005 - 2500 Dodge Ram
None of the fuel pumps are getting power - neither are the gauges when the engine is turned to on.
No animal chewings, and tested the fuses and relays and everything seems to be checking out. The socket for the fuel relay (may be worded different slips my mind not looking at it) one hole reads 12 and hte other 6 on the voltage meter - is this correct? My other truck is reading 12 and 12 from both holes but is a gasoline.
Tried to hook up a check engine light scanner - can't read anything not able to connect, "error". Tried the on-off-on-off-on with the ignition and not coming up with any codes there either.
At a real lose and would appreciate any further insight. The truck did sit for 3 weeks without being started as had to leave the country in for an emergency but didn't think this would happen.
Also lightly sprayed ether into the air intake and it tried to start up but choked out immediately.
Both batteries are charged fully.

When I could not get my '05 started, and the scanner showed no communication as well as the gauges not working, I had a toasted ECM.
It all started with a gauge reading that the alternator was not charging and went down hill from there. I did find my connections on my ECM were loose, but it was too late in my case. I did have to buy a new ECM (out of the 100k warranty) and have it flashed. $2000 was the total bill.
I did test the fuel pumps first by using a jumper wire from the battery to the fuel pump terminal in the underhood distribution center. They worked then, but the injector circuit was also dead too, so it did not run (only started on a light spray of ether I also tested the relays, they were fine.
