I tried to pass car on the road today the truck downshifted and took off.When it hit about 60 mph it just kind of bogged down and that was it.60 was top end, it was at 2500 rpm it didn't want to shift back to overdrive it was a dead pedal.I let off the accelerator it shifted on out and all was fine.I wanted to see if it was a fluke so i did it again same thing.The truck runs fine has plenty of power for pulling my trailer but if i get into a situation where i need to move in a hurry I'm screwed anybody have any ideas.I changed the fuel filter about 4200 miles ago.It's never had a programmer or any mods except air box upgrade

 

When was the last time you changed your air filter? Or cleaned it?
