Question 2003 dodge 5.9 5speed truck just died started it up runs fine.

did this 2 times now no other probs just crusing around town & it just dies like its out of fuel, turn it over a few times then it runs fine iam guessing its the lift pump i dont have gauges so not sure on the fuel pressure whats the best way to check & is the lift pump on the 03 in the tank.

The lift pump is located on the back of the fuel filter canister

From: North Carolina or Kentucky. Take your pick
Check for codes and report back! Key on, on, on and read speedo.

Most likely a bad lift pump, as noted the 03 lift pump is on the back of the filter housing, unless replaced under warranty already.
