Friend of mine is driving my 2002 CTD. Check Engine light just came on followed by a loss of power. Pulled truck over, Restarted and seems to be OK for now. The codes that were pulled were

P 1693 and P 0121 Is this a lift or fuel pump???? Thanks!!

 

1693 is companion, 0121 is an APPS code. basically a throttle position sensor out of range code.

Sounds like it might be reset time

 

Can anyone post the Reset procedure? I will look on the Search after a bit.. Thanks!!
