my injector pump has been goin out since 75k miles. i have been usin vegitable oil to help the situation. but now the put is done. i took the pump apart and put new o-rings in it and put it back on the truck and now it wont start. im thinkin i didnt get it back in time right? iv been told its the iat sensor. also been told its the advance piston in the pump. when i had it checked at the shop the computor said(injection pump timing failure). what do yall think? im lookin to get this done cheap as possible, i dont have the money to get it done at the shop. i know i can take it off and replace it now, i just need to know how to rebuild it and get in time again. if anyone knows how to rebuild one or knows where i can get a good cheap one or get mine rebuilt, i would be much apetiated. thanks

if i remember right, timing on the vp 44 is controlled by the injection pump control module, which is part of the pump.so a replacement is the only thing you can do.........plan on at least a thousand dollars if you do the work yourself
