02 3/4ton fuel pressure
02 3/4ton fuel pressure
I have a 02 3/4ton dodge. I just put in a Edge Juice with Attitude. So far it works great. The only question I have is about the correct fuel pressure I should be showing on the Attitude monitor? Right now it shows at normal running conditions around 10psi. I have a buddy that has the same truck, but a manual tranny, and he is running around 15psi. I know there are some slight differences between the auto and manual. I am just wondering if this is a correct psi or if my fuel pump is getting weak. I just had the injection pump replaced about 6mos. ago. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks
I would tend to agree w/ DMcPherson. But the main thing is if it is relatively stable and doesn't drop drastically to low ranges. 10lbs running is probably fine.
If it ever acts funny tho, replace it with something OTHER than the Carter OEM pump. Lots and lots of options depending on $$$.
See my sig to see what I'm happy with.

I ended up buying a Walbro 392 LP with a kit that added larger fuel lines and got rid of the banjo bolts in the fuel filter and Injection Pump. Now I am running 18psi at idle and 14psi with my foot in it. Big improvement.
