2002 6 speed manual leaking bad from rear seal

I have a 2002 3500.h.o. dually with a six speed manual. It is leaking from the rear seal on the transfer where the driveshaft comes out badly. How hard of a repair is this to make ? Does anyone know the cost associated with having someone else do it?

It's about a 1 hour job with the right tools. I would think you could get it done for less than $150 parts and labor.

You shouldn’t need more than just basic had tools to replace the seal. If the transfer case housing extension is shot they aren’t hard to replace either, but I’m not sure where you can get a new one. You might even have grooves in the yoke shaft.
