Almost sounds like dirty battery cables, not grounding properly. There should be no noise from Injection pump.

Had same issue. Pull the cables, use a battery cleaner, and a terminal brush, and get those terminal rings (red/green protector ones). Install rings, reinstall cables (pound em down good.. terminals are tapered) and ensure tight.

I had chance to have the hood up and started the truck while doing my fogs, and when it went to start, it sparked up a good one on the positive terminal. Thus, not good contact. Poor contact leads to not enough current available to go to the starter = no start.

Fresh batteries help too, but only to a point.

More accurate measuring , full batteries should be 12.6-7 , should not drop below 10.5-11 , especially if the started is not turning over , a load test on the hole system is in order , alt. , starter and batteries .
Besides the above , it can be connections to all .

i jumped it with the wifes car & had to get a jump at work as well, so i ended up getting new batteries... fired right up this morning @ 25*F

the bolts have a bit of corrosion on them, is there an easy way to replace? i though i read somewhere (or maybe i was dreaming) that the ends unscrew to replace

Which bolts are you referring to ?
If they come out [ or not , use blast , soak for a day ] put back together with anti seize .
