I have a 2000 Dodge 2500 Two wheel drive, I get a engine light, and when it is active I have no tach and the truck won't start. the P code I get is 1693. Is there a starting sensor, and could this be the problem? Any help or suggestions will be appreicated.

 

1963 is a companiion code. There is another code in there. If you don't get that code with the key on, off, on, off on trick, then have to have it read with a scanner. Not much help, sure others will have more suggestions.
