12v has no power
#17
If u have a farm and tractor store, they usually have the good deals on FP gauges.
So ur truck should be making 1200tq? With that power, things will be more prone to break and be expensive, but I hope u get this problem worked out because it should be reliable with that power if u don't bash on it..

I did everything sort of at once because every single item I installed I got screwed over hard core by the manufactueres. so while waiting for them to fix one thing I put something else on.. then that didnt work. The truck isnt broken from the power. After putting the mods on it has had less power then when it was stock with intake, exhaust, 12 plate, and 3gsk dyoned at 440pounds at the wheel. 1200 is just a rough (but hopefully good) guess based off forest neering's truck. Since our trucks are dang near the same mods down to the 6 speed swap.
so just any fuel pressure gauge? and I should see what at idle 7 or 14psi or something? and does checking it in neatural while revving it help even though its not under a load? it still cuts out above 2k rpm

[QUOTE=Captain;1425196]sounds like overflow valve or shut off selonoide could cause these problems. Any chance I can get one from some place on a sunday?[/QUOTE
pull ofv to take a quick look for anything obvious, broken spring. if nothing put it back in check psi. you can tie up the solenoid to check

shut off selonoide seems to be opening and staying open to the same posotion that I can turn it to by hand. It snaps open so I guess thats working. I guess I need to find another overflow valve some where. Getting and installing a fuel pressure gauge is what ill do if the ofv dosent work since that is harder and probbaly just as expensive.

any other ideas? I just spend 90$ on a new overflow valve that didnt help at all. I have little intrest in wasting another 200 plus all kinds of hours on a lift pump for that to not work also. I have no way of testing the fuel pressure with a gauge

sometimes it's the little things...
put a brick on the accelerator and then actuate the throttle on the pump by hand... it wouldn't be the first time a throttle cable stretched and not allowed full throttle at the pump.
