2001 3500 24 valve with 302,000 miles!!!!!!

Sent a check engine code 0622.
On the road with a load!!!!!
What does this mean and how do I fix????

P0622 Generator Field Control Circuit

I would check connections to alternator, etc. and make sure they are clean and tight.
