when you run out of fuel you have to bleed the injectors.......

ok how do i do that i kicked the starter until the pump quit running to prime the fuel filter for about 30 min and then tried to start it and it did nothing
also i found that if i step on the gas pedal while i try to start it it kills everything the truck just dies
so now i get to spend good money getting it to my house 25 miles away because they are going to tow it
im sorry for sounding so stupid but this is my first diesel and i just bought it from my dad about thanksgiving and now that i have got it everything seems to go wrong with it. lol

thanks for the help i will try it again tommorrow

Bob, where are you located? Perhaps we have members close to you.

Dodge fuel senders go bad, probably what bit you, you need to run it down to half showing and verify that it takes right at 17 gallons to fill.
