ok i just bought a power puck for my dads 01 and when i got it i had to use the 98-00 install directions because thats what year the puck is for i guess. my question is will this hurt anything it seems to run just fine what makes the 01 puck different????

also if it has any barring on it the truck was manufactured 03/2000

 

come on guys no one knows if this will hurt anything the puck i have hooks up to the back of the IP and not through the map sensor will this be a problem on an '01

When I had one in my old 01 it connected to the back of the injector pump.
