So, i have a new electronic fuel pressure guage. Its actually an oil pressure guage. As i understand it, i should have as much as 40PSI with my truck. The guage reads between 5-24PSI. It went up a little when i pinched the return line. Im in the process of replacing the overflow valve. Do ya think the guage is just over to big of a spectrum? I hate to have to go buy another, lower total pressure guage. But worse then that is to have a false or innacurate reading guage.

 

My money would be on a weak lift pump. When you pinched the line it should have shot way up.

40 PSI might be a bit strong, I think the spec is 35-37 at full song. I seem to remember Infidel saying it should hit 60 with the return line pinched though.
