you guys with stacks
It is a matter of ones own opinion. I agree with Erska anything bigger than 7" look better on duallys. As for the height I think they should at least be high enough so they don't cover the back of the cab with smoke and why would you want to hide them like that? Why put them on if people can't see them from every angle? Seems silly to me, I don't know how far above the cab mine are.

X2 , mine looked like crap when i first put them in my truck because they were taller and looked good in my buddies truck(who I got them from), So i had to cut 3"'s off of them to look good IMO on my truck.
One of the big reasons I have rain caps, or in this case mud caps lol

Waiting to run, bandimere race way

And in case any one was wondering how I have a tool box sitting between the stacks

I agree that it is all personal preference, and to each his own...but some people's setups are just bad in town here. After I got my stacks, seems like everyone had to have em. I've seen an old beat up Chebby gasser with bent up rusty not even straight stacks, looked like they were made of fence posts. Then there's the Ford Ranger with at least 5" stacks, complete with air horns bigger than the roof of the truck and more lights on it than a Christmas tree.
...and I agree, that blue dually is beautiful. I love the black rims/pipes/grille look

I love the way dual stacks look on trucks, I was going to run them on my, until one day I was running down the highway and seen a white dually with black sut all over the roof of his truck from his. I desided that I didnt want stacks from then on,and I had a baby on the way and we take my truck every where and I have heard that they can be pretty load inside the cab. But if I was going to run them I would have the 6" Assie cut about 6" above the cab turn out. I now just run a 5" turbo back pipe
