Thumbs up

because when was the last time you seen 444e or 365vt or 6.6 duramax in Ag equipment diesel pusher motorhomes or like at our work we have 2 b5.9 12valve engines whith at 16,000 and 19,000 hours on them, and we have never been into them still powerfull !! by the way they are in pretty big sized frontend loaders ran hard all day long nonstop so when was the 444e or 365vt or 6.6 duramax in theses aplications with these kida hours they are only rated 151 and 185 horsepower in our loaders but still are very strong.

I have no logical reason for driving a diesel, period. Well, maybe one... I LOVE IT!

Power, reliability, economy. I found all three of those in my 93 and I think I'll find it in the 3rd gen I plan on buying this week

Although my truck has never put a scrap of gold in my pocket, it brings a smile to my face and I therefore declare it good

At the time, Aug. of 2004, GM and Ford were having some major issues, ie. 6.0 Ford/Navistar engines and Allison Xmissions. Dodge/Cummins had the same basic combo for 23 years, making improvements tried and true. I was in the construction business as a mechanic for a few years, and Cummins was always the top dog. This truck I have is for my retirement enjoyment, not to be laying under it or under the hood for some mechanical reason, other than to install a toy or something fun. Friends and family have run these things 300k and still trucking. Thats for me.

because i already have two gm 6.2s and they are great for transporting me. and a 5 cylinder 300d which gets 27mpg just like the low maintainence of a diesel and no electronics. for the year i think it is the best bang for the buck. had it 8 years now.

Yeah, and speaking of Inline Sixes ....... I've pulled my 4 horse trailer with 2 different F150s, one with the 302 and one with the 300. Both of them were 1984 models and had 3:55 rear axles, same size tires and manual trannys. The 300 will out work the 302; it's got the torque where you use it in a truck whereas the 302 has to be winding to make the same power. In fact, comparing the two is like comparing the Powerjoke and Diapermax to the Cummins. My 2¢

because I want to??

I had an 04 hemi 1500....and wanted a 2500 because I like big tires and lifts.

Saw the nice CTD 2500 Megacab Laramie with a sunroof and dvd on the lot, decided I can have some luxury lol

I dont own a trailer and except for hauling around our moto's and 4 wheelers...it never gets worked.

But after driving this truck in the winter...I cant see myself ever wanting something else. I love the way it handles, and I feel safe with this heavy truck. Also...I like how green guys get when they see me driving this rig Its a mans dream truck lol

Matter of fact my DW drove the new truck to work this morning in our snow storm here in Ohio.

Now, I'm worried she might be liken the truck more than me. I gotta figure out how to keep her out if it. HELP!!!!
