My bud has an '03 with 170,000+ miles on it. He's done the tires, u-joints and most recently, the lift pump. Get's 19+mpg if he keeps it under 70 mph!!

Drove 90 this summer that my boss bought with 600k on it. Was a truck a company used to drive all over the country to go to auto shows to show their products. It now has 1.3 million. He still lets his dad drive it everyday. Went through 4 transmissions and now needs a rebuild to replace the pistons that melted down from pulling a trailer full of pallets (EGT's too high for a long time) Other than that the truck has been trouble free. Body is rusted off but she still starts up and drives!

A little off topic-
The record is 2.2 million miles on a 1963 Mercedes taxi in Greece.
It is still in use and has had only one driver.

Was it a diesel or a gas powered car?

Mine started blowing smoke at about 200k because the radiator blew one day, and the engine got so hot the valve guides fried, but that was 200K ago and I haven't got the time to repair them yet.
