My dad's 2000 has 259,000. I've seen an 89 with 427,000 and a 91 with about 450,000. The 91 was owned by my horseshoer, the Getrag went out on that one and he bought our 91 at 298,000 and he has 360,000 on it now.

Didn't think I'd come close-
262,000 on my '95 3500, 99% towing 25k loads.
Besides modifications the only work done on the engine has been replacing the throttle cable and water pump.

I have a good friend who runs a towing company and his 97 CTD tow truck just turned over 550,000 miles. It has a #10 plate and 4" exhaust and is stock other than that. It has been through a few water pumps, alternators, fan clutches and vacuum pump reseals but other than that, the engine has been untouched and continues to run strong....all in a truck that weighs 10,300 lbs empty and spends a ton of time idling. He has certainly got his monies worth out of that truck!

Pretty cool on the gasser. My bro in-law had a 97 2500 Ram gasser that was caused him all kinds of trouble. He traded it in last year on a GM, it only had 80K miles on it, blowing blue smoke.

Well cant say my rig is exceptionally high miled, but in the 3 years I have had it I have put about 120k mi on it. Oh that and the odometer quit, so all I have to go by is the frequency of how often I fill up and how many miles I usually get on a tank approx.
