Post What Brand of Turbocharger... ?

When it comes to modifying and making power I'm very hesitant about certain things and one of those being my turbocharger. As far as what kind of power I want to make it doesn't matter but I wouldn't mind getting some input on what brand of charger's are most preferred and reliable. As we all know these suckers aren't the cheapest items in the world so if you buy one you like to do it once and do it right.

Mike

BTW... Sorry if some of the above chargers aren't listed correctly

Both turbos I have had were built By J.R adkins. both were holset turbos also. I had very good luck with the first one but i still have the second one sitting on my shop floor. Hopefully to be installed this weekend.
My frist charger was just a built stock turbo that droped EGT's 300*
I wish I still had it but it let go at 60PSI and I gained 10PSI with the turbo.

Is anybody running a Phat Shaft 62-12 or 14cm, and how do you like it? I can pick one up pretty cheap(very low miles and in excellent shape), but haven't heard too much about them here.

I have a Holset and I can say that I am happy with it. My Dad has a Borg Warner in his chevy and he is happy with it. So, I would have to say that they are both fine Turbos and I have nothing bad to say about either one of them.
