It's an '87 suzuki samurai with a volkswagen 1.6 turbo diesel swapped in with the acme adapters kit.

It has some issues that need to be resolved before I can run it. there are a lot of hoses that are rubbing on various things. I think the rings are shot. when I pull the oil cap off there is quite a bit of air pressure coming out of the crank case.
and... the big one... When we went to do the paperwork we left the thing idling, when we got back it wasn't... Turns out a hose blew and all the coolant puked out. The father wasn't exactly clear how long it ran that way before he shut it down, a couple minutes or a couple seconds.
So I go to check the oil and there was next to none on the dip stick. There was some splashing about in there but not much. I knew I would have to tuck into it, I just wasn't planning on doing it this soon....

 

At least you finally got it in there. I had wondered what that little sucker looked like. I saw one like that for sale awhile back, but it was gone when I went back to look at it.
