wow it actually drops rpms when it shifts..... wish mine did that


mine sits right at 2700-2800 and hardly budges when it shifts

Looks good man. Now that youve got the trans. to handle a little extra power get a grinder out and murder that stock plate. While your at it straight pipe it and put a set of governor springs in there It will make a HUGE difference

Which would work best for the plate?

I have a 2 bench grinders, and an air angle grinder and an electric one.

bench grinder would be nice because u can hold the plate steady with both hands. I'm probably gonna use my angle grinder because I don't have a bench grinder, put the plate in the vise and go at it.

Hmm did you manually lock it up in 2nd around 4:49? It seems that once it shifted to 2nd it either immediately went to 3rd or maybe you just locked it up?

Nope I don't have a lockup switch yet... I really don't see a need for one now lol.

It looks like it hit second while the RPMs were dropping and then decided to go into 3rd, you can watch the tach blip just a little bit there.
