Does the auto trans and 4x4 really add that much weight? My truck is 800 lbs. heavier than yours.

Ok, got my truck weighed again yesterday. Empty with camper shell, bedliner, nerf bars, stock tires, no other accessories, and a 1/2 tank of fuel it weighed 6800 lbs. A full tank of diesel fuel (35 gallons) weighs 250 lbs.

It would be nice to see a few more 3rd gen QC 2wd DRW's post on here, I'd like to see what my truck would weigh with the stock bed on it.

My 2WD is at 7,360 with 500+ on bed (cap, liner, some tools, etc), driver, full fuel.

I went to Vulcan materials to get some crush and run to install pavers. the scale said 6648 going in and 9489 going out. The tires didn't look real happy but I didn't have that far to go.

My truck was 7200 with less than a 1/4 tank and without me when new. so like me it has gained some weight in the last year.

8600 with tools, boxes, & overhead racks. does not include the load/materials needed for the particular job, this is the fixed weight.
