I am getting sick and tired of these emmisions junk

People need to pull their head out of you know where and let us have our diesel cars. I have been waiting for the new TDI's to come out to get my wife a new car, now i have to wait 6 more months.

I'm not too sure on how accurate that info is. The diesels are actually slated to be released in March of 08 not January like whats state in that article. I have not received anything from V-dub thats states other wise. I'll see what I can find out.

EPA doesn't seem to be the bad guy anymore. Just read an article where 13 states are wanting a waiver from the EPA so they can have even tougher emission laws than what the EPA has right now. And my state is one of them. At the rate diesel prices are climbing by the time all these diesel cars hit the market the general public will be scared away from purchasing anything diesel along with the higher price tags. That's okey more diesel for us....

Boys, they had better not make too many mis-steps, if this is one, because Honda is coming full bore with the 2.0 TDI for the Accord, I just read an article saying 2009 now......

And if I get anywhere NEAR the claimed 59 MPG, I won't car a whit about what Diesel costs.....They also are working on a 3.5L for the Ridgeline and something else.....

A TDI civic would be awesome!!!! I love my wifes 07 civic, they dont drive like the old econobox they used to be.

Shhhhhh! Some of us don't fit comfortably in the Civic......Though if the Accord will get 59 MPG, could you imagine a Civic??????
