Now,,, the DTR members will have the chance to pick the Truck Of the Month (TOM). Ed, Joel and I have selected three candidates for you to choose from.
There will be a Poll posted on the 15th of the month showing three thumbnail pics of the chosen trucks. By clicking on the thumbnail,,, you will see a larger picture of the truck.
The owner's name will also be a link to their Profile Page where you can see the Truck Mods they have listed and also the link to their Gallery.

*NOTE* Now would be a good time to go into your profiles and make sure you have your Truck Mods listed. You can do this by clicking at the top of the page and then Edit Profile to put your info in.

The winner of the poll will be posted as the Truck of the Month in the General Diesel section on the 1st of the following month, at which time we will send a PM/email notifying them and asking for their info so they can receive their plaque from Keith Livingstone of Forest City Diesel (our TOM sponsor, and the creator & supplier of those beautiful plaques). Actually when the T.O.M. committee was building this thing in the Mod section of the forum, I snuck a picture of my truck in as a contestant. They threatened to take away my ability to see what they are up to in the future

Man what good is having all these secret powers, if a guy can't use them?

Great idea, I agree that having your truck chosen by the other members, just makes it that much more prestigious an award. Thanks for suggesting it

To the Admin: You need to notify people by email that they have been choosen for TOM line up... I had no idea... I just found out as I was reading posts....

 

Gee Thanks for nominating my truck for the TOM award.
I always thought it would be an honor to be selected and a nice way to show off my truck as well.
If you couldn't tell by my pictures, I take a real pride in my truck and everybody always waves or I get the thumbs-up at the stop light.
I get comments from where ever I go and the people at the fast food placed know my order as soon as they hear my rumble.
BTW how much space do I have for my pictures in my gallery. When I try to load some pictures, it says I am out of space and to delete.
