Used AWD Diesel Wagons

So, my truck needs a break, so I am looking for an older AWD Diesel Wagon. Any opinions on what's best?

This guy made one to run in northern California snowy winters and used a W123 turbo diesel to avoid emission testing requirements. It used the W123's body, engine and trans sitting on top of a Nissan King Cab chassis with a short driveline running to the Nissan's original divorced transfer case. Total conversion time 2 weeks.

There's an outfit in Canada that imports Toyota and Nissan diesel wagons, vans, and SUV's from Japan. They are pricey, and thier prices are non-negotiable. Also, to be legally imported to our wonderfully over-regulated USA, they have to be 25+ years old! In Canada, it's only 15 years, so there's a lot more options. Google it, you'll find them.
