Could be a lot of things. <br><br>Have any codes been pulled off it yet?<br><br>What was the truck behaving like when it shut down?<br><br>How hard was it being run?<br><br>Are all the fluid levels, temps, and pressures within spec?

What engine in the frtliner?
If it is an electronic engine than there is a sensor telling the computor that something is wrong.
For example if you lose oil pressure the engine will shut down. If the oil pressure sensor fails than the computor thinks you have no oil pressure and will shut down.
If the engine starts to get hot. The computor can "derate" the power output of the engine. This will cut the horsepower back till the engine cools or if it does not cool it may shut down.
Since you had a warning light than the computor has logged a code. You will need to find out what code it logged into memory to find out the area of your problem. That is your starting point.
Iron horse is right, check all the basics first. fluid levels and so on.

Lucas,<br>Pull the codes, it will be in a MID, PID or SID, FMI format. The MID should be 128 for Engine control system. If you can get me the codes I can tell you what they mean and what to do about them. If the engine shutdown and there was no loss of fuel flow or pressure from a mechanical failure of pump or lines, then it is an electrical problem.
