Re:Things I have had to replace on my Cummins

Hmmm.....

1996 4X4 with 178K,

3 track bars
1 oil pressure sender
Return lines
a perfectly good head gasket
1 serp belt
1 rotor
1 pair of batteries

Not to mention normal wear stuff like tires, windshield wiper blades, bulbs and misc. things that cost less that $10.

Stock tranny has lasted 178K with 37" tires and motor mods listed in my sig. It's finally on life support, I'm just hoping it holds together until I can fund the new trans.

Re:Things I have had to replace on my Cummins

This is the complete list of things I HAVE HAD TO replace on mine:

1 lift pump @ 45,000 miles (under warranty).

That's it! 56,000+ miles on it now.

Original tires, brakes, bulbs, clutch, tranny, everything. Tires are lookin' good. Change oil, oil filter, fuel filter every 5k / 15k miles.

Optional replacements - Removed silencer ring, added EZ & boost elbow, RV275's, removed muffler. ~$660 total. Paid off truck April 5th, 2003. 13+ G's in the bank now, baby!
