Man I couldn't agree with you more. I wish I could buy a brand new old truck. Metal dash,rubber floor mat,crankup windows the way real trucks used to be. But that will never happen again unfortunately.

Yeah I was going to mention that... I think you can get rubber floors in any model even the Laramie.

One of the neater trucks I've seen was a chevy LT that looked like a stripped down one from the outside ie no body moulding, black fender flares, and grey steel wheels. Open the door and it's all lux minus carpet subsituted for rubber mats.

wait til i get into a truck with carpet when i got cow edit 8 inches up my ankle from chasing cattle in my buddies barn lot. that dont work so well.

That's why I have crank windows and a stick. If I want all the fancy stuff, I take my car with the Hud display and junk.
