Question Are these replacement bumpers any good

I am looking for a replacement bumper to fend off bambi attacks. And I was wondering if the bumpers from cabelas are any good, they are made by lonestar truck equipment I think. Any opinions of these or recommendations for one would be greatly appreciated. Everything I look at cost so much to ship here it's not even funny.

I had a Ranch Hand full replacement winch ready "Legend" series put on my truck recently. Pics in my gallery.

I don't know if they have any dealers in your part of the country or not.

I like the Buckstops mentioned by Andy in the post above....but they cost a fortune. Even the Ranch Hands are not cheap, but you can probably get one that is not "Winch Ready" for $600-900 or so if you negotiate a little. The Bull Nose version is a little less than the Legend Series.

Try southwest fabricators in Junction, Tx. I bought some runnig boards from them. They have a full line of bumpers, and headache rackls also at affordable prices.

I put the ranch hand on the rear for 300 bucks w/10" drop and lights. Nice fit and stout. For the money, can't beat them.

I have fought against my baser instints and have avoided that so far. But the level of skill and thought put into the driving around here is getting worse and worse and I have had to lock of the brakes a few times this last year to avoid it.

ur **** right!!!!

we make our own replacement bumbers, we imitate the ranch hands,
me and by brothers and my cousin, between 18 and 23yrs... cut and weld and paint and put one on each one of our 5 dodge cummins...

and your right, its a temptation, not to hit the slow ricer burners, on your way...
(el que pega paga) mexican rule!!!

I would say the road armor is good. A company up by me cuts and welds them and they are very reliable and a good company to support.

Smile Re: Bumpers

Hi Guys
I'm one of the new guys thats coming from the ford side ... I have my nice new to me 2wheel drive ... the frame seems pretty strong ... I was looking at the new dodge 3500 duellys ... the frames a very thin ... I'm the guy that posted the red superduty in the classifides .... the one with the TexasOutfitters pipe bumpers ...
I had to renforce the ends of the frame because of the weight of the bumpers ... I think it also might be an issue with the dodge trucks also.

Later

Greg
