Taller Tires

I would like to slow my RPM's down to improve fuel economy but don't want to spend $3000 for an overdrive. Does anyone have any ideas on taller tires (probably different rims as well as tires) that wouldn't add much weight to my factory tires and rims? I see alot of big tires and rims out there but don't think the extra mass would help with fuel economy. My factory height is approximately 29 1/2 inches and I could increase that to about 33 1/2 inches max because of clearance issues.

If your original tires are 245/75/16 there are several sizes that should fit. 235/85/16 and 265/75/16 comes to mind.

you want to stay as narrow as possible to keep weight and rolling resistance down

Thanks fella's for your suggestions. I'm concerned that if I just get bigger tires the additional beefeness of the tires will somewhat negate the advantage I would get with lower RPM to improve fuel economy. I was thinking of a larger rim that might be made of a light metal like aluminum or magnesum (That wasn't too expensive) and a tire to fit that to get me to 33 1/2 inches or so. You people that have larger tires, is there a way to make the speedometer and odometer read correctly?

I run 235/85's on mine. They are quite a bit lighter than the 265's that came off of it. (originally had 245's) But they do make they whole truck look a little lighter to me. I would guess that on yours the odo/speedometer are computer controlled? I believe that some programmers allow you to enter revs/mile and reprogram that way. Stealers can do it also.
