Stacks=Mess??

I'm thinkin of puttin some 5 inch miter cut (not a 45 degree cut amybe more like a 55 of 60 degree cut, not flat just a small angle) stacks on my truck. The top of the stacks will be about 6 to 8 inchs above the cab. It's a white truck so how much of a mess is this gonna make???

What is a good cleaner to take it off ?What can I put on it so it's no so hard to get off?????

wash it. getting soot on it is just a part of the deal. and if you dont want to keep cleaning it, install bull haulers or curved stacks.

Yeah it will make a bit of a mess, depending on how much your truck smokes. It all comes right off with a little soap and water, just make sure you have a good coat of wax on the truck.

I can't have bull horns of turn outs, to me they look ugly.

The biggest thing is, it's white but o well.

The soot will just wipe off no big deal. i carry a towel in my truck and just wipe the sides down while its warming up.

My turnout will still collect water and give the truck a soot bath if the rain is blowing right.

Ya I have Bulls and I still get dirty but it isn't bad it just wipes right off. Alot of the time when you start the truck it will blow soot flakes all over those will just blow off.

Can't you just drill a weep hole in the bottom elbow for rain to run out?

You might as well accept that with this mod, you get soot. Part of the decision process.

Some people do that, but I am too lazy to. I guess it depends on how much it bothers a person

Ya this is just something you need to be prepared for, like I said sometimes when you start it up it will blow soot flakes all over even without water. Try being at the drive through window turn off the truck so you can hear then starting it up and powdercoating the register and the worker.
