spanner wrench??

hey guys...i wanna tighten up my steering gear...need a spanner wrench...where can i get one without ordering online?...nothing at canadian tire up here

can i use a punch and hammer to tighten it too? or will it never be as tight as if i used the adjustable spanner...?

You can make a spanner fairly easily. ( assuming that you have metal and a torch or grinder and some spare time). A vice would be useful too for bending the ends but you could do it with pliers if you had to.

I've given up trying to find the exact wrench... (supposedly a Miller-SPX tool)... Local most-excellent tool place came up dry.. I'm resigned to fabbing my own to tighten that plug. Won't be that hard to do... Just can't find the time and the gumption to lay down on that blistering hot concrete.

they'll probably have it.. perfect for the tool you need once or twice, and it is cheap.. quality isn't as good as some others, but i have broken tools from canadian tire, sears, snapon, proto, gray, armstrong and princess auto..

Spannere Wrench ???

What size Spanner do you need ???? Just to through a spanner into the works !!!!!!! You might be able to use a 12 point socket. and a flex bar. to do what you need to do.......
