i was lurking around on a powerstroke forum and i came across an interesting thread concerning discount tire direct and ebay. it seems that people are getting some very good deals. here's the link http://www.powerstroke.org/forum/dis...hese-guys.html i'm not in the market for tires but if you are, then this may save you some money. check it out and make your own decision.

the live search deal is through Microsoft, I have used it to gain a credit of over 600 bux, by just doing my Christmas shopping through it. sure its like any other rebate, ya gotta wait 60 days..... but finding deals better than I could find on shelves, with free shipping, and getting a nice chunk back for truck toys o whatever is a nice bonus. MS seems to be toying with the program tho, tweaking it and slowly dropping the percentage back, I did great the couple days they had it at 30% now it is down to 15% at best, who knows if it will go back up.

I bought tires from Discount through ebay but I didn't opt for any of that, just paid cash and got them the next day. I am satisfied with their prices and service.

so you've actually recieved money back into your account? or has it not been 60 days yet? if you've recieved your money back already, then that would make me feel a lot better about trying it out.

The live.com is real and legit. I've used it twelve times to buy silver and I've already received around $1500 in my paypal account. The funny thing is that sometimes (no one seems to know the conditions), ebay releases the fund instantly rather than having to wait 60 days. Most of my later ones were instant.

It's kind of moot though, the live.com rebate is down to 8% as of today.
