It aint too bad though, seems like a lot of people are moving there so it's getting crowded.

It's getting yankeeish, doesn't seem like Texas. I had a *presumed drunk or crazy migrant worker try to run me off the road last time I was down there. I had my gun out, he's lucky I was able to flee the situation.

Yeah, I'm sure it is in the right areas. Lots of Hippies and weirdos that go out of their way to be weird. Don't mind weirdos if they are original and don't stink too bad, just don't like the unoriginal ones that do it for attention.

Hit up 6th street sometime, I go down and visit my brother sometimes... It's kinda cool.

Feel free to keep up with the site even with no truck - you've gained lots of insight to share with others.

Good luck with your move. Hope it works out well down there - it's going to be a climatic shock coming from Canada! I actually want to move north!

Well who would a thought it. Don't tell me that the US is going like the Uk. I went into pay for Diesel this morning and said mornin to a guy waitin to pay next to me and he looked at me asif I was an alien. Thats the very reason I want to move to US and Diesel prices as well. Just paid over $10 a gallon - god only knows how much i'm gonna pay to fill up my Cummins - when I get it.
Cheers guys - happy diesel motoring.

That's over 3 times our cost here ouch.

I'm definitely going to stay on here and help everyone and join in on the rants...Hey UK-RAM. The unfriendlyness is mostly visible in the major cities. NY, the south Florida area, Los Angeles etc. I find folks fiendlier in the US than here in Ontario. Even in buffalo (where people are bitter, burned out and miserable) people were very friendly. I know Austin is liberal but I don't think it's anywhere as bad as Toronto.
